The AKC lists 19 colors of the Pom on their Home Page and this is a bit misleading. There are other Pom colors that are not seen on the AKC's Home Page list of colors, but you will find these colors on breeders applications.
There are also 5 recognized markings that a Pomeranian may have that are listed on the AKC Home Page. However, again...there are other markings that are found marked on breeders applications.

The AKC asks that the breeder choose a color from the list that is the closest color in their opinion.
